The Prophets Quill

The Prophets Quill
Rare, requires attunement
This slim blade once belonged to a patient-turned-test-subject known only as Subject Twelve, who wrote prophecies in her own blood.
Stats:
+1 shortsword
On hit, roll a d6:
6 = Glimpse the future — gain advantage on next attack or save
Whispers of Tomorrow (1/day):
Ask one yes/no question as if casting Augury. The answer appears carved into your forearm.
Side Effect:
Each time you use its magic, take 1 psychic damage. The blade remembers what it writes.
Infusor Blade

Infusor Blade
Weapon (longsword), rare, requires attunement
Crafted by the potion-smiths of the Alkaith Crucible, this blade contains a sealed channel within its core, designed to accept alchemical infusions. It hums with potential—waiting to be fed.
Base Properties:
+1 to attack and damage rolls
As a bonus action, you may insert a potion into the chamber in the hilt. Only one potion can be active at a time. The infusion lasts 1 minute or until replaced.
🧪 Infusion Effects (Examples):
Potion of Healing: When you hit, the blade glows red. You can choose to restore 1d4 HP to yourself or an ally within 10 feet once per turn.
Potion of Fire Breath: Your next hit deals an additional 2d6 fire damage.
Potion of Speed: While infused, you may make one additional weapon attack as a bonus action each turn.
Potion of Invisibility: The blade itself vanishes from sight, granting advantage on stealth checks and your first attack from invisibility deals +2d6 psychic damage.
Potion of Heroism: You are considered under the effect of Bless while the blade is infused.
Refueling & Limits:
The blade can hold 3 potion charges per long rest.
Infusing a new potion expends one charge and overrides the old effect.
Thana's Hourglass
Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a Rogue)

Thana's Hourglass
A divine gift given by Trixie LaFlure at the urging of a vision—meant for a woman who knows how to use time like a weapon.
This gleaming silver hourglass pendant contains diamond dust instead of sand. The dust never stops moving—suspended in magical time, swirling infinitely. Sometimes, in the reflection of the crystal, Thana sees versions of herself that haven’t happened yet—some stronger, some broken.
🕰️ Slipstream Step
As a bonus action, once per short rest, Thana can step half a second out of sync with time.
Until the end of her turn, she gains:
+10 to movement
Advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks
The ability to move through enemies’ spaces (but not end her turn there)
⌛ Backstabber’s Rewind
Once per long rest, when she misses an attack or fails a saving throw, she can turn the hourglass and reroll.
After using this feature, the hourglass glows faintly and feels heavier for the rest of the day.
🖤 Kiss of Stolen Time
When Thana reduces a creature to 0 HP with a sneak attack, she regains one expended use of Slipstream Step and can cast Invisibility on herself (no concentration, lasts 1 minute or until she attacks).
Usable once per long rest.
Flavor/Lore
This hourglass was crafted from the fractured remains of a Celestial Timekeeper’s mirror, shattered during the fall of Sun City and hidden in a tear in time beneath the temple ruins. Trixie recovered it only after receiving a divine warning: “She will not come from the prison, but she is one of them. Her time is already unraveling.”
Thana may not have been in the Institute—but this necklace knows her intimately. And it’s counting down to something.
