🎤 Puck Springborn — Opening Remarks
(Playful, dramatic, loves the spotlight)
“Ladies, gentlemen, and beings of every glittering shape and shade — welcome to the Flare!
Tonight, we celebrate not just a celestial wonder above us, but the brilliance within Gothika herself.
The Council thanks you for your presence, your sparkle, and your loyalty to this great city.
But first! To start our night of revelry, may I present a sound unlike any other —
the voice of love, adventure, and destiny itself: Gerdor Greenwood with the hurdy-gurdy!”
🌱 Bramble Jean — Official Announcements
(Measured, diplomatic, but with the warmth of a gnome who genuinely loves the people)
“My friends… tonight we stand under the light of the Flare — a reminder that even in times of darkness, hope will always shine upon Gothika.
It is my solemn duty to share important news with you all.
Chancellor Valeria Hawthorne has been arrested.
Her actions have been deemed a grave betrayal of the trust placed in her.
By Contingency Clause 647, the Emergency Succession Protocol, the position of Chancellor will be temporarily filled.
The Committee has appointed Dr. Richard Moore as Interim Chancellor, until further review and a fair trial can be arranged.
Furthermore, as Dr. Moore transitions from his Committee role, we welcome Tripp Torah as the newest member of The Committee — a rising star among our people.
Please join me in extending your support as we step forward together, stronger and more united than ever.
And now, it is my honor to welcome Interim Chancellor Dr. Richard Moore to the stage.”
🩸 Dr. Richard Moore — Project Moonfall Speech (Dramatic Rewrite)
(He steps to the podium, Hugo and Ganon looming at his sides. His voice cuts through the celebration like a blade.)
“Citizens of Gothika…
We gather tonight beneath the brilliance of the Flare, a celestial wonder that has watched over our city for centuries.
But I must remind you — stars burn brightest in the dark. And make no mistake… the darkness is here.
Yes, the Chancellor has fallen. Valeria Hawthorne’s betrayal has been dealt with. But do not be deceived. Removing a single corrupt leader does not erase the threats festering in the shadows. Our enemies do not rest. And chaos does not vanish simply because we wish it to.
For months now, you have seen what I have seen — instability, whispers of rebellion, creatures stalking the night. Trust has been broken. Fear is rising. And yet… you look to this stage for answers.
And I will give them to you.
As Interim Chancellor, I swear to you this: Gothika will not fall. Not to corruption. Not to monsters. Not to weakness.
We will rise — not by hope alone, but by strength. By discipline. By fire.
That is why I have begun Project Moonfall.
No longer will we entrust our future to fragile treaties or trembling politicians.
No longer will we gamble the lives of our children on half-measures and empty promises.
No. Gothika requires an army of perfection. Soldiers who will never hesitate. Who will never question. Who will never fail.
And tonight, you will see the first.
[He gestures. Gabriel steps out — regal, glowing, but his eyes hollow. The crowd gasps.]
This… is Gabriel. A celestial once lost to chaos, now reborn by order. By my hand.
He is proof that the old ways are obsolete. That even divinity itself can be reforged into a weapon for the people.
Watch closely.
[Gabriel shifts — his body distorts, wings tearing into monstrous shapes, the Institute beast revealed. The crowd screams.]
Yes. You remember this creature. You feared it. And yet, here it stands, bound, controlled, loyal to me.
This is the future of warfare. Strength without doubt. Power without mercy. An army forged not of chance, but of certainty.
And though some may whisper of methods best left unspoken… remember this: every soul taken, every sacrifice made, will be fuel for the machine that ensures your survival.
Order will return to Gothika.
Peace will be restored.
Not by prayer. Not by chance.
But by Moonfall.
[He spreads his arms, letting the tension hang, voice dropping into a hiss.]
Whatever it takes.”
